Presented with pleasure by NOMAD Sea Kayaking, this event is for all kayakers with their own boats (or day hire from N.S.K.) including touring & sea kayaks. Guests should be paddling fit with basic skills to be self-sufficient on the water.

We launch from Woolverstone Marina & paddle up the Orwell estuary on the flood tide. Under the Orwell bridge & into the docklands of Ipswich. We'll stop on the first Nacton beach, directly after the Orwell bridge for lunch before completing the return journey on the ebb tide.  The total distance is approximately 7 statute miles. 

Weather Remit: A wind of a maximum of 15 knots steady blow with wind gusts up to 20 knots. We can exceed this remit somewhat if the wind is south westerly.
