Voluntary Beach Cleaning

NOMAD Community Projects conducts beach cleans on almost all of its events as well as formal voluntary beach cleans with all of the refuse collected and surveyed for the Suffolk AONB and Marine Conservation Society and the results are published annually. NOMAD Community Projects is a 'not for profit' social enterprise for the benefit of our local communities with some beach clean events sponsored.

All volunteers are provided with bags, bag rings, gloves and litter pickers. We pair people were possible with one person picking and the other noting the item on the survey sheet. A member of our team (in orange uniform shirt) will be on-site to separate all of the hard plastics for recycling separately from the general junk found on beaches.

PLEASE support our work - just follow the small 'beach clean' signs and you'll see our bright orange beach flags ahead of you.

These events are FREE of charge and on a voluntary basis only. Booking is required as places are currently limited to 40 volunteers including corporate groups.
