Improving your paddling strokes on a budget - beginners.

Two hours of basic stroke training covering forward paddling (with trunk rotation), forward sweep, reverse sweep, steering on the move, stern rudder & draw stroke. These strokes will give you the ability to paddle forward efficiently, turn statically, steer on the move & move your kayak to the side effectively.

A really great session! I had thrown myself in the deep end going on one of the seal colony trips last year and loved it but found it quite challenging. This session really helped me understand how to make paddling easier for myself so that going further wouldn’t be as hard. It was a really fun lesson and I felt much more confident after my coaching from Kurt
