Performance Touring Kayak

The RTM Tempo is regarded as one of the fastest plastic sit-on-top kayaks on the market. The touring hull and low seating position gives fantastic performance on flat water and in rough seas alike. This is an ideal choice for all levels of paddler as it has the stability needed to provide confidence for beginners and the speed and handling characteristics advanced paddlers will love, it is also a great choice for fitness paddling.

If you have always wanted to try sea kayaking, but are not sure about a closed cockpit kayak and the idea of learning to roll, then the RTM Tempo would be an excellent alternative as it can handle the conditions most sea kayakers go out in and will keep up with all but the fastest closed cockpit models. You are unlikely to fall off the kayak but if you do so getting back on is not difficult.

The hull profile provides plenty of waterline which makes this a very efficient kayak on the water with great tracking characteristics. The gentle rocker helps it ride over waves and gives good manoeuvrability too. The sleek profile means it slices through the water very well. The large hatch or rear tank well will easily take a kayak trolley and the tie down buckles on the front hatch will keep it secure in the roughest of conditions. 

The rear tank well has a cargo net to keep your gear safe at sea. With a generous max load limit of 375lbs there is plenty of capacity to take enough gear for overnight camping.

3. Alternatively, customers can collect direct from the distributor themselves by pre-arrangement with NOMAD Sea Kayaking.
