Your 30 Minute Free Consultation

Before you even think about booking, let's deal with what's actually on your mind.

"What actually happens if I capsize?" You will practise coming out of the kayak and getting back in, in calm, controlled water, before you ever paddle anywhere that matters. It stops being a mystery and starts being a skill you have. Cold water is respected, not feared: we teach you what it does to you and how to dress and prepare so it's a non-event, not a crisis.

"Am I actually good enough for this?" Almost nobody who starts with us has paddled before. You don't need strength, you need technique, and technique is taught, not inherited. You will not be the person holding the group up, because we put you on the course that matches where you actually are, not where you're worried you should be. And the real goal isn't just getting through a day with a coach beside you. It's getting to the point where you can go out on your own, with real judgement, and know you're making a sound decision. That's what the coaching is actually for.

"Can I really handle the sea, or is that further down the line?" Wind, tide, and waves aren't things we throw you into. They're things we teach you to read, one layer at a time, so "sea conditions" stops being a vague fear and becomes a set of things you understand and can judge for yourself.

Still not sure? Have up to a  30-minute phone call with our coach Tom before you book anything.

No pitch, no pressure, and it costs you nothing. Tell us what's actually making you hesitate, ask every "what if" you've got, and decide for yourself whether this is right for you, from someone who's been teaching people to do this safely for 21 years.

Head to our Home Page and book your 30 minute consultation, free of charge, no obligation.
