Our Guide & Coaches use the Sport RM most days of the week throughout the year, so we are knowledgeable & experienced in these kayaks.  There is plenty of room for large feet. Neoprene & Aquatherm spraydecks hold very well on the fibreglass cockpit rim (spraydecks are not included). Avoid the canvas spraydecks. The knee braces & the front of the cockpit coaming are neatly finished with foam for comfort & to limit shin scratches when inserting legs into the keyhole cockpit.

The kayak is fitted with a high-performance glass seat & offers extra legroom due to a raised area on either side of the cockpit. The seat can be set higher for a smaller paddler & the raised area in the front deck can be padded if needed.

The kayak has a low rear deck for easy rolling, a keyhole cockpit that gives excellent grip, control & allows quick exit if need be. The foam pillar immediately behind the seat provides additional back support, together with the closely positioned bulkhead, which allows the kayak to be emptied by lifting only the bow; no x-rescue is necessary.
