Paddle with Purpose

Discover Deeper Fellowship on the Water with a Graceful Paddle Christian Kayak Tour

In a country that is increasingly hostile to Christ & His church, it can feel isolating—even discouraging—to walk the narrow path of Christianity. For those of us who believe the Bible is the true & sufficient Word of God, and hold to the doctrines of grace as revealed in Scripture, opportunities for genuine fellowship can be few & far between. The Church of England apostatised a long time ago & is no longer a place of worship for believing Christians & many other protestant churches teach falsely, leading congregations away from the Truth of God's Word. The few churches whose doctrine is true to Scripture suffer with Pastors who lack formal training & weak leadership, remaining silent while the citizens of the United Kingdom suffer under ever increasing autocratic & unpatriotic laws.

That’s why we created Graceful Paddle Christian Kayak Tours—a refuge of refreshment for body and soul, and a place where true believers can find rest & encouragement in the company of like-minded saints.

A Journey of Faith & Fellowship on the Water

Imagine gliding across calm, estuary waters on the East Anglian coast. The sun glints off the surface. The air is crisp with the scent of salt and sea. Birds call overhead and, for a moment, the noise of the world fades behind you. Gods creation.

Now imagine you’re not alone.

You’re surrounded by fellow Christians—not just in name, but in conviction—men & women who love the Lord Jesus Christ, who cherish Scripture, who pray, worship, and speak of the things of God with joy & sincerity. Our tour begins with a moment of shared prayer, entrusting the day to the Sovereign God who made both the heavens and the sea. We seek not just safety & enjoyment, but that He would use this time to edify His people.

And He does.

Why Graceful Paddle?

In the spirit of Hebrews 10:24-25, we gather to “consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another.” These tours are more than a physical journey—they are a fellowship of the saints.

We talk openly about Scripture, doctrine, the church, and the pressing spiritual challenges of our day. Whether it’s Reformed theology, the trials of Christian parenting, church discipline, evangelism, or the goodness of God’s sovereignty in suffering—our conversations aim to build up, not entertain.

But not every moment must be filled with words. For some, the very silence on the water is a means of drawing near to God, reflecting on His Word, or simply rejoicing in His creation. For others, the joy is in meeting others who truly “love the Lord in sincerity” (Eph. 6:24).

Our Calling in a Secular World

Make no mistake—this is not a recreational event with Christian window dressing. This is a Christ-centred adventure, offered with a heart to encourage the remnant, those few who still “contend earnestly for the faith once delivered to the saints” (Jude 3). In a cultural moment of compromise, we seek not to entertain the masses but to find and serve the faithful.

If that’s you—if you long to meet others who love Christ as you do, who hunger for sound teaching, for prayer, for accountability, and for joy in God’s creation—then we urge you to come.

Since surfing with the pros as a kid in Durban South Africa on my hollow 12ft barge & getting absolutely trashed, I was hooked on sea paddling. Over a period of forty-two years I’ve surfed, white watered & sea kayaked in locations around the world. I've guided as a full-time professional for the past twenty one years & my journey continues.
